Member Spotlight: Yazoo County Board of Supervisors Highlights

On October 20, 2025 the Yazoo County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution designating October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, while Haven House Family Shelter continues to promote awareness and empowerment within the community transcending the boundaries of age, race, gender, and socioeconomic status. 

On October 14, 2025, the Yazoo County Board of Supervisors, members of the Central MS Planning and Development District, South Central MS Workforce, and MS Department of Employment Security, and other community members were on hand to introduce the MS Works Digital Access Center for employment to the community at the Ricks Memorial Library.
