September is Voter Registration Month — MAS-MC Needs Your Help

Dear County Supervisors,

September is Voter Registration Month for MAS-MC, and we are asking every MAS-MC supervisor and friend of MAS-MC to make an extra effort this month to encourage eligible citizens throughout our communities to register to vote.

As county leaders, you have a unique opportunity to help connect residents with the information and resources they need to participate in the democratic process. We encourage you to take action in your district and help us make voter registration a priority throughout September.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Here are a few ways you can support this month’s voter registration effort:

• Contact local churches and ask church leadership to make announcements encouraging voter registration.

• Host a special voter registration effort in your supervisor district.

• Contact local high schools and ask school leaders and Social Studies teachers about opportunities to speak with students who will reach age 18 prior to October 5, 2026.

• Coordinate voter registration opportunities with your County Circuit Clerk’s Office.

• Partner with organizations throughout your county to conduct voter registration activities.

• Contact local radio stations and ask them to help spread the word about MAS-MC Voter Registration Month.

Every registration matters. By working together, MAS-MC supervisors can help ensure that eligible Mississippians in our communities have an opportunity to make their voices heard.
