MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Bruce Brooks, Noxubee County District 2

Noxubee County District 5 Supervisor Bruce Brooks is being recognized as Supervisor of the Month for his leadership in adopting new strategies for road rehabilitation and maintenance. Under his direction, the county has just completed 2.2 miles of rural roadway that had been plagued by weak subgrade conditions, poor drainage, and constant upkeep needs.

The work was carried out with experienced contractors—Innovasoil Technologies, a leader in advanced soil stabilization and pavement reinforcement solutions, and Head Contracting, a trusted local firm with many years of expertise in earthmoving and soil management. Innovasoil’s specialized technology bonds and strengthens the existing soil at the molecular level, while Head Contracting’s field knowledge ensured proper preparation, blending, and construction execution.

This project demonstrates how Supervisor Brooks’ forward-looking approach and reliance on proven expertise can turn struggling roads into reliable assets for Noxubee County.
