About the event
The Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus (MLBC) will host a digital dialogue to address what it calls growing threats to the 1965 Voting Rights Act, along with the impact those threats have on statewide communities.
According to a media release, the MLBC says the Voting Rights Act faces "renewed threats" through a legal challenge at the U.S. Supreme Court. In the midst of that challenge, the MLBC says it's dedicated to ensuring Mississippi voters know what's at stake and how to respond.
